Finally on the last stretch

Up until now, I never realized how the time flies so fast. The third quarter of this school year is nearing its end, and it’s time to look back at what happened during the past two months of this quarter. During this quarter, I learned a lot of things and knowledge that I didn’t knew before. In this quarter, I have discovered more about towns and including their traditions, history, culture, and more.

This quarter have taught me a lot of things, preferably more about community-based studies. Researching about our community’s history and culture have opened my eyes on another whole world and have widened my understanding on our town. Discovering more things like tourist attractions, learning about the town’s traditions made me enjoy studying the topic and it was quite fun overall.

As we’re moving on forward into another quarter of our semester, we should look back and think about the fun and struggles that went by with just a blink of an eye during this quarter. Let’s say good bye to the third quarter, brace ourselves and welcome fourth quarter with a smile in our faces.

The Start of a New Begining

This new normal started different and many kids are suffering in this pandemic. Students are struggling a lot during this pandemic because of schoolwork. Online learning may sound and look good, but it has its own struggles too. Online learning requires you to study by yourself which is hard to some people like me, some teachers might try to discuss lesson to us but not all have internet and the devices needed for it, and the mountain of tasks to be done in such a short time and notice is hard. It is far much better to have face to face learning again even though its hard in this pandemic is so that more students would learn more efficiently than online learning. Pandemic: What happened to education

Education provides people knowledge about our world and to hone our own skills for the better. Education also helps us prepare to have our own points of view and form our own opinions on different in life. In this pandemic people still try to find ways to help people from learning. One of these are The Department of Education also known as DepED, they are finding ways on how can students still learn during this pandemic. One of these is online learning, and the other one is modular learning. Online learning uses the internet so that the students and also the teachers to connect to each other to have a class, but there is a huge problem with this, not all students and teachers have the necessary equipment to have an online class because of poor internet connections and financial problems. The Spirit of Christmas Still Lives

Christmas has been a tradition for so long I can remember, for us to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We celebrate it every year on December 25. This tradition includes exchanging gifts, caroling at houses, and enjoying a nice Noche Buena with your family and friends. Christmas is the day everyone is looking forward every single year. However, the virus called Corona virus, also known as Covid-19 spread all over the world from previous year. Everyone can still have a Christmas celebration, but it’s not the same as it was on the previous years. Our world is now quarantined, preventing everyone from going outside, and is also governed by protocols. In this pandemic, families that are distant from each other celebrates Christmas with each other with the help of internet, but it is still not the same as when you are with each other.
