Lenten Season, is a celebration that the Catholics are
celebrating every year. It is for remembering the sacrifices of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Lenten has been a tradition for Catholics and has been a special day
for the religion. It is because Lenten is the day that showed how our Lord Jesus
Christ had sacrificed himself for our very own sake long time ago.
Every day, on the day of April 14-15 every year, is the day
for us Catholics to remember the sacrifices of Jesus Christ. In this day, the Catholic
Church advises that all Catholics to fast and abstain from eating meat in specific
days. Abstinence is refraining from eating meat while fish is permitted, while
fasting is eating only a single full meal per day.
This Lenten season has become an important occasion for us Catholics
as it is a reminder for us to not forget all the sacrifices our Lord Jesus
Christ had done for us.
