The Spirit of Christmas Still Lives

Christmas has been a tradition for so long I can remember, for us to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We celebrate it every year on December 25. This tradition includes exchanging gifts, caroling at houses, and enjoying a nice Noche Buena with your family and friends. Christmas is the day everyone is looking forward every single year. However, the virus called Corona virus, also known as Covid-19 spread all over the world from previous year. Everyone can still have a Christmas celebration, but it’s not the same as it was on the previous years. Our world is now quarantined, preventing everyone from going outside, and is also governed by protocols. In this pandemic, families that are distant from each other celebrates Christmas with each other with the help of internet, but it is still not the same as when you are with each other. The Start of a New Begining

    This new normal started different and many kids are suffering in this pandemic. Students are struggling a lot during this pandemic because of schoolwork. Online learning may sound and look good, but it has its own struggles too. Online learning requires you to study by yourself which is hard to some people like me, some teachers might try to discuss lesson to us but not all have internet and the devices needed for it, and the mountain of tasks to be done in such a short time and notice is hard. It is far much better to have face to face learning again even though its hard in this pandemic is so that more students would learn more efficiently than online learning. This is how the pandemic affected the kids, kids weren’t able to go out and play with their friends whenever they want to, being stuck in our homes can cause not just physical but also mental illnesses not just to kids but adults too.
